General Psychologist
Lais Kelly
My name is Lais, I'm an AHPRA registered General Psychologist with a rich and diverse background. I graduated in Psychology with Honours in Brazil in 2016. After graduation, I've worked as a School Psychologist, then moved on to work with women and children escaping domestic violence, providing support and focusing on rebuilding self-esteem and connection. I moved to Australia in 2018 and, after registering as a counsellor with ACA, I took on a role of NDIS Early Childhood Early Intervention Coordinator, supporting families and young kids on their developmental journeys. After a while, I restarted my work in the counselling/psychological setting, supporting children, adolescents and adults in both Queensland and Tasmania.
When I'm not working I love painting, reading, traveling and watching movies (let me know if you have any new suggestions). I'm passionate about mental health and Raise and Learn because I truly believe that good communication and mental health awareness are the keys to a healthy life.

Education Specialist
Kate Conway
My name is Kate and I have a Bachelor in Behavioural Science (Psychology) from QUT and Masters in Early Childhood & Primary Teaching from ACU. I love how applicable both degrees are to my career as an Early Childhood Teacher. I wanted to make an impact in the lives of children and their families, and teaching felt like the right place to go!
I am lucky enough to live in a small country town in Queensland, where I have three dogs, two kittens and a baby who keeps me busy. Living rurally has shown me the importance of being part of a community as it can be quite isolating. Most of our friends and family live more than 500km from us, so we rely on technology (phone and video calls) to catch up. We have a great community filled with people who love catching up for coffee, playdates and a BBQ on the weekends.
Effective communication and social skills are pivotal in our lives, which is why I am passionate about Raise & Learn!
