PEERS® for Teens
The14-week program includes:

Initial individual 45-minute appointment to fully comprehend your teen's background

14 weekly 90-minute meetings with the participants group

14 weekly 90-minute meetings with the parents/carer groups.

Psychological assessments at the beginning and at the end of the program

A progress report written by a registered psychologist
Cost: $3,500 + GST

General Psychologist
Initial consultation: $250

Individual Parent Support
To support children with low to medium educational needs, parents can develop a structured home environment with clear expectations. Encouraging a love of learning through activities can also help children build confidence and improve academic skills.
Initial appointment: $130 + GST
Subsequent appointments: $110 + GST

* Medicare Rebate: To be able to claim a Medicare rebate, a Mental Health Care Treatment Plan and a referral letter need to be provided by a General Practitioner (GP), Paediatrician or Psychiatrist. You are able to claim up to 10 sessions per calendar year - after the initial 6 sessions a new referral letter is required and your referrer might choose to review your MHCTP.
* NDIS clients: You are able to claim some of the services on your NDIS plan if you are "Plan Managed" or "Self Managed". For more information, please consult your Plan Manager or your NDIS Local Area Coordinator to find out whether you will have any out-of-pocket expense. You will not be able to claim your expenses or your NDIS plan if you are "Agency Managed" as we are not NDIS Registered Providers..
* For Private Health Insurance rebate, please consult your Private Health Insurance provider, as it will be determined by your level of cover.
